Disney Cruise Alaska Day 4: Skagway, Sled Dogs, Gold Panning, White Rail Pass, Silent Disco!

On day 4 for our Disney Alaska Cruise aboard the Disney Wonder we are in our first port, Skagway. We did a three-part excursion. We learned about panning for gold and got to pan for some gold. We learned about sled dogs and got to meet some adult dogs and puppies. We also held a baby puppy. After we visited with the dogs, we learned a bit more about the gold rush, and then boarded the White Rail train. We saw gorgeous views, Batty Betty shared some outlaw stories, and shared what life was like for folks hoping to strike it big during the gold rush. After our excursion we did the silent disco which was so much fun and had dinner at Animator's Pallet. Very cute restaurant and nice show. The food was okay, not our favorite menu.
