Television's Vintage Black & White era: Connie Stevens '93 Interview w/Eddie & Joely Fisher

Wrapping up our July 4th/Independence Day weekend with a really nice tribute to the wonderful Connie Stevens. Hence, we continue our trip down television's mid-20th century's memory lane with a second interview with Ms. Stevens, who co-starred in the hit television series Hawaiian Eye (1959-1963). Ms. Stevens is interviewed in this clip circa 1993 on the Geraldo Show, and as a special treat, both her ex-husband Eddie Fischer and their young daughter Joely are on hand as well. A really sweet and charming family interview that we here at Television Vanguard had forgotten we had on files. We pulled it out of our archives recently and just thought it was such a wonderful clip. The interview will help give the viewer here today a glimpse of Ms. Steven's life right after the success on television with Hawaiian Eye, and her foray into the theater and Broadway, just prior to her joining Bob Hope and his USO road tours of Vietnam for Christmas Shows for the US troupes stationed there in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
