RAAF 100 Squadron CT-4 Farewell

With blustery conditions and a gloomy sky, it set the scene for today's outing to the Royal Australian Air Force Museum at Point Cook. The occasion was the farewell to CT-4A Airtrainer as flown by 100 Squadron, following the announcement earlier in the year regarding many of the heritage aircraft operated to be retired, and sadly the 'plastic parrot' was in the mix. To help celebrate the days events, the Tyabb based UH-1H Iroquois made a visit, plus the Air Force Roulettes put on a synchro pairs display to keep the crowd entertained. Finally, A19-077 took to the air for a robust demonstration in trying conditions, to end its flying career in style.
