We wrapped up our final day in Kuala Lumpur by meeting up with a friend for some iconic beef roti (recommended by one of our subscribers!) and visiting the Petronas Twin Towers just in time for the water show. The next day, we left KL with our local Malaysian tour guides to experience authentic Malaysia through local eyes — trying traditional dishes like Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Cili Padi (snail curry) and Itik Salai (smoked duck curry), eating with our hands, and even learning how to play snooker. We snacked like locals, went on a magical firefly boat ride, and ended the night with Nasi Kerabu (blue rice with lamb).
