How To Prime the Filter Pump in Henny Penny Fryers
This video shows you how to prime the filter pump in Henny Penny pressure and open fryers so oil can be pumped back into the fryvat. When a filter pump loses its prime it can be due to wear in the pump seal kit. If the pump seal kit is worn a noticeable amount of oil can be seen dripping between the pump and the pump motor. A lack of frequency in filtering the oil and/or cleaning the filter pan can place undue stress on the pump causing it to work harder and making the seal kit wear quicker. If you continue to experience loss in suction then contact your local Henny Penny distributor (https://www.hennypenny.com/sales-serv...) or our Technical Support department at [email protected].
