Always a Good Time | Hillside City Park Mountain Bike Trail | Elk River, MN

It's been four years since I've biked at Hillside, and they've added an entire skills park! A lot of features, some great flowy sections, and an in-progress dual slalom downhill line made this a fantastic ride. Located in Elk River, Hillside may be a bit of a hike for some who live in the Twin Cities: farther than your local trail, but not so far that it'll eat up an entire day. I'd recommend getting here once a year; they have an active trail crew, and I was impressed at all the work that was put into these trails over the past few years.
