Set-Rite Toilet Flange Extender Installation

When the bathroom was retiled the toilet flange was not adjusted so that it sat on top of the tile as it should. I purchased a Set-Rite flange extender set. In this video I show how to install it properly. I discovered I had an issue when the toilet was clogging. Plunging caused water to leak to the floor below. The tile guys used double wax rings with funnels to build up the gap between the flange and toilet. Cheap fix, but the wax eventually slid out of place allowing for water to seep between the two rings. It also constricted the water flow greatly which was why I was getting frequent clogs. The cheap fix ended up being more work and now I have to paint the ceiling on the floor below the toilet.
