The 2022 Kia Sportage comes with three different powertrain options, 1.6T, 2.0D, or 1.6T based hybrid. And today, we have the all-new Kia Sportage with the 1.6Turbo based hybrid system. Usually, atkitson cycle engines are used for the hybrid setup, but not for this Kia Sportage. Rather the same 1.6Turbo is used and on top of that Kia had added 44.2kW electric motor, so the total system output comes out to be about 230ps and 258lb. ft of torque.
