MercyMe Perform A Powerful "Make It Well" Live At The Grand Ole Opry | Positive Vibes Only

Watch six-time Grammy-nominated contemporary Christian music band MercyMe perform a stirring rendition of "Make It Well," filmed live at the Grand Ole Opry. Originally released in November 2025, "Make It Well" is inspired by the classic hymn "It Is Well With My Soul." MercyMe frontman Bart Millard reimagined the lyrics to resonate with fans and audiences who are "still in the middle of the struggle — just trying to get by — and who know they are not going to get through it without the help of the Holy Spirit," he wrote in an Instagram post. A version of the song, featuring Tim Timmons and Sam Wesley, was featured on the soundtrack for the 2026 film 'I Can Only Imagine 2,' which chronicles a chapter of MercyMe's rise and references the original hymn "It Is Well With My Soul." This performance is presented in collaboration with the Gospel Music Association to celebrate Christian Music Month (CMM).
