Salmo 60 | A vida é guerra

LIFE IS WAR. In this introduction to Psalm 60, we will see that life is lived on a battlefield. Yes, we kill a lion a day—sometimes even a whole pack of them. And it will be like this until our last breath, when, in Christ, we will overcome our last enemy: death and its stings. To win, however, in addition to putting on the whole armor of God (i.e., belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit—the word of God), as instructed by Paul (Eph 6:13-17), what we must do, without losing vigor, is to pray (Eph 6:18): “Pray [Greek: praying] in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Check it out.
