This facility aims to position Siliguri as a premier destination for business tourism and large-scale events. 💻 Webel IT Park The inauguration of an AI-enabled Webel IT Park in Siliguri represents a ₹100 crore investment. This initiative is expected to attract tech companies and generate substantial employment opportunities in the region. 🏭 Four MSME Industrial Parks Four new industrial parks dedicated to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are set to be established across Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar districts. Spanning 123.8 acres, these parks are projected to create over 5,000 jobs, with an investment of ₹80 crore. 🏨 Luxury Hotel Near Bagdogra Airport Plans are underway to develop a five-star hotel on a 4-acre plot near Bagdogra Airport, aiming to enhance hospitality infrastructure and cater to increasing tourist inflow. 🚌 Enhanced Connectivity To boost tourism, six new Volvo AC bus services have been launched, connecting various North Bengal towns to Digha, facilitating easier access to the Jagannath Temple and coastal attractions. --- 💼 Private Sector Commitments Prominent industrialists, including Harshavardhan Neotia of Ambuja Neotia Group, announced plans to invest ₹15,000 crore in Bengal over the next five years.
