How I Made my Custom ERTL Railway Series Percy - An In-depth Look into the Project

By popular request, I've decided to put together some in-depth videos showing and discussing the methods I use in creating my ERTL customs. Ever since I started making customs in 2020, my goal has been to make them look like official models that ERTL would've come out with, if the range had lasted past 2004. In some cases I tend to put more effort into my customs than ERTL did with their models, but in the end attention to detail is important as well. Percy was a project I started in the beginning of 2023, as I wanted a model that was more representative of his Railway Series look. Starting with a spare ERTL Percy that I had gotten in a bundle of other models, I started making plans for my custom. Percy mainly just required a simple repaint, however simple was not the case. I faced many setbacks when it came to painting the model, but in the end the final look was exactly what I wanted for this custom.
