Follies, 1971 "Rain on the Roof" "Ah, Paris" "Broadway Baby"
Here's the trio of "Rain on the Roof," "Ah, Paris," and "Broadway Baby." This one is trickier, but ultimately works, I think. There is no footage of "Rain on the Roof," so you have to listen to the song with no video for about 30 seconds. (You can see a little bit of the Whitmans and what they looked like doing the song, at the end of the trio.) Then there is some very brief footage of Solange's song, which I haven't really tried to synch to audio, and I use the same footage over and over. It gives you a kind of sense of how the song looked. Then I have pieced together Hattie's song, using brief silent footage plus the LA rehearsal footage, which has its own audio. This comes together beautifully, but you have to be patient.
