North Lampung, Lampung - Efforts to rescue regional finances have once again shown tangible results. The North Lampung District Attorney's Office has successfully recovered more than one point three billion rupiah without having to go through the court process. Through the Civil and State Administration Division, regional financial recovery reached Rp1,330,684,470.95. This achievement follows up on the Audit Report of the Republic of Indonesia's Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), which was resolved through a non-litigation legal aid mechanism. The non-litigation approach is the primary strategy for accelerating the settlement of obligations by the relevant parties. This method prioritizes negotiation and persuasive steps, eliminating the need for the recovery process, which is typically lengthy. The Head of the North Lampung District Attorney's Office, Edy Subhan, emphasized that this strategy is able to encourage the rapid settlement of obligations while optimizing the recovery of regional losses without having to go through the litigation process. Meanwhile, the Head of the Civil and State Administration Section, Yogi Aprianto, stated that the non-litigation mechanism not only expedites the resolution of audit recommendations but also improves legal compliance by relevant parties and provides efficiency in the use of time and resources. The North Lampung Regency Government expressed its appreciation for this achievement. Regional Secretary, Intji Indriati, viewed this success as concrete evidence of the synergy between the regional government and law enforcement officials in maintaining transparency and accountability in regional financial management. This success also involved the Attorney General's Office, the State Attorney General's Office, and the North Lampung Regency Inspectorate, who jointly oversaw the regional financial recovery process. Going forward, the North Lampung Regency Government is committed to continuing to strengthen collaboration with the District Attorney's Office in following up on every recommendation from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in a timely manner. This step is part of the effort to realize clean, professional, and integrated governance, while simultaneously maintaining regional fiscal stability through stricter oversight. This success confirms that recovering state finances does not always require a lengthy legal process. With the right strategy and strong collaboration, regional loss recovery can be carried out quickly, effectively, and accountably.
