About TOEP The Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) is an online English language proficiency test administered in an academic context using multimedia computers. This test measures participants' English proficiency, indicated by a score ranging from 310 (three hundred and ten), indicating a non-native English speaker, to 642 (six hundred and forty-two), indicating a highly proficient English speaker. The TOEP accurately measures English language proficiency, primarily receptive skills, namely listening to spoken language and reading comprehension. For productive skills (speaking and writing), testing is available upon request.
