New REM Line to Anse-à-l'Orme in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦

Montreal’s REM network is growing again — and in this video, we ride Alstom Metropolis trains along the newly opened Anse-à-l’Orme branch on its first day of regular service in May 2026. This 14 km extension brings automated metro service deeper into the West Island, with new stations at Des Sources, Fairview–Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, and Anse-à-l’Orme. Along the way, we look at the elevated sections, bus connections, station surroundings, and how this branch fits into the wider REM network.
