A friendly antique shop in a cute street in the suburbs of England. The prices are reasonable and there are many cute things, so I really like it. There is a market and a French antique shop-style shop nearby, which is a nice bonus. I bought the plate of my dreams and a box of unused treasures at this antique shop that makes me want to shop. Easter biscuits Unsalted butter---100g (cut into 1cm cubes and take out of the fridge 30 minutes before) Castor sugar---75g Egg yolk---1 Cake flour---150g Cinnamon powder---1/2 tsp Nutmeg---a little Lemon zest (yellow part only)---1 Lemon juice---1 tbsp Currants---40g *Before baking, heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4 1. Put the butter in a bowl and soften it with an electric whisk. Add the castor sugar and beat until it becomes light and fluffy. 2. Add the egg yolk and beat further. Add the cake flour, cinnamon powder, nutmeg, lemon zest and lemon juice and mix with a rubber spatula. Add the currants, mix everything together, and then use your hands to hold it together. 3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface until it is 5mm thick. Cut into your desired shapes and arrange on an oven tray lined with parchment sheet, leaving some space between each cut. Bake in a preheated oven for around 12 minutes. If you want to sprinkle granulated sugar on it, remove it after about 10 minutes, brush on a thin layer of milk, sprinkle on granulated sugar, and bake again in the oven for 2-3 minutes. 4. Once baked, gently remove it from the parchment sheet and place on a wire rack or similar to cool completely before enjoying.
