Finding The Best Sound For My Truck. Part 1

Hey everyone, hope y'all are having a good day! This video ended up being a bit long but I'll be adding chapters so you can scan around to the bits you want to see. Today I am swapping out the stock muffler on my 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic 1500 with the 5.3 V8. First swap is with a Flowmaster FX (71416), then we'll do a start up and a quick drive to see how it sounds. Next up is a personal favorite favorite of mine, a Magnaflow Performance (10416) muffler. These are just straight up muffler swaps, everything else is still completely stock. Chevy's of this year had a weird 2.75" exhaust piping. So I grabbed two, 2.5" pipes by roughly 8" long, and put a piece in at each side of the exhaust, right where I cut off the muffler, and welded it in place so I could add band clamps and swap the mufflers around with ease. This is just part of what I have planned, exhaust wise. This is just a comparison for those who are looking for a pretty easy and cost effective way to get a lil more tone/sound out of their vehicle. I'll be looking into dual exhaust soon and re-using at least the Flowmaster's and Magnaflow's again to compare with dual exhaust, may even add in Borla to the mix... but we'll see how things go.
