Danganronpa Character Theme Songs [2025 EDITION]

Five years ago I made one of my most popular videos on this platform, the Character Theme Songs video for Danganronpa. Back then I was a HUGE Danganronpa fan, as I had just finished playing the games, and decided to show my appreciation for this new hyperfixation like I always did, by making a character theme songs video for it. I loved assigning songs to characters I obsessed over, and seeing how the lyrics would work for these characters in a series I loved so much, and I still do. I always fixated on which lyrics would mean what thigns for characters, and it was my favourite thing to do. Now 5 years ago, I was 13. I'm 18 now, but as an adolescent who's favourite thing was Danganronpa at the time, I put my heart and soul into that video, even if it meant skipping characters I didn't really care about. I didn't include Gonta or Ryoma or Nekomaru in my original video because I didn't think too much of them, and ended up making a second video to include everybody I left out. As the years have passed, and I have grown up, I no longer make as many videos as I used to. Sometimes I go back and remake Character Theme Song videos that I feel are outdated (like with my DC ones) but none of them quite garnered as much attention as my Danganronpa one, likely because the Danganronpa fandom was HUGE in 2020. The truth is, I fell out of love with Danganronpa some time in early 2022, and eventually just stopped interacting with the fandom at all. What once felt like my whole life was now just a video game franchise I saw on my shelf and thought "Huh, haven't played that in a while" and I slowly forgot about it. Recently however, as I was going through my youtube channel I checked to see what my most popular video was. It was some old nightcore video from ages ago, that I never deleted because it got WAY too many views to delete it like I did the others, but just below that video was my old Danganronpa video. To this day it still gets comments, and it made me a little sad, like seeing an old friend. Then I went on TikTok and saw mutliple old Danganronpa cosplayers returning after years of not cosplaying from this series, and I realised holy shit, I made that video five years ago. Now, I haven't replayed Danganronpa in a while, and I'd be lying if I said I was a fan of it again, but I still hold a special place in my heart for this franchise, and wanted to recreate my old video since it has been five years. I put more effort into the song choices, and included everyone instead of excluding people I didn't care for, because I know that there's somebody out there whose favourite character is that one. I also hope it's not too obvious that I don't like V3. I feel like I put a lot of care and effort into THH and GD character songs, but with V3 I wasn't as careful. Also I didn't include the anime because I despise the anime. I can forgive liking V3 even though I personally don't like it, but the anime is genuinely awful and ruined so many of my favourite characters. It was kinda nostalgic making this, because recently I've been using Capcut to edit all my videos, but the app has gone to shit and every good feature now costs money, and I don't want an ugly watermark in the corner of my video, so I went back to Windows Movie Maker, which is what I used to make my old videos on (including my Danganronpa one.)
