Finding Strength in Jesus Christ | Hope Works

Yahosh learned about his ancestors’ strength from the African American spirituals composed by those who were enslaved. Those songs were passed down from generation to generation. Yahosh’s ancestors taught him that Jesus will always walk with him and help him see better days. I want Jesus to walk with me; I want Jesus to walk with me; All along my pilgrim journey, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me. In my trials, Lord, walk with me; In my trials, Lord, walk with me; When my heart is almost breaking, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me. When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me; When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me; When my head is bowed in sorrow, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me. Where did your ancestors get their strength? They went through what they did so you could be here. At the end of the day, you need to find out who you are and discover the relationships that are important to you—especially your relationship with Jesus Christ. Somewhere in your history, Yahosh believes, someone gave up something great for you. But you will always have someone who gave His life for you. Jesus will walk with you along your journey. He will be with you in your sorrow, He will walk with you in your troubles, and He will be with you in your victories. Yahosh shares his failures and successes and encourages you to walk with Jesus.
