Eisberge in Grönland in Ilimanaq mit AIDAcara und AIDA-Selection - eine 50plus Reise

After we were unable to sail to Ilulissat in Greenland with AIDA and the AIDAcara due to massive icebergs, we stopped on the other side of Disco Bay, in Ilimanaq. There, I was able to take an incredible evening hike with my best wife of all through impressive scenery and magnificent ice landscapes and icebergs. If you have the time, inclination, and enthusiasm, I hope you enjoy this video. 8-) As a senior citizen, I gave up my previous career at almost fifty and decided to pursue and realize a lifelong dream: to perform as a stand-up comedian on as many stages around the world as possible. In pursuing this goal, at the age of 52, I discovered social media and networks like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Suddenly, it became clear to me that what my generation knew as RTL, Pro 7, or ARD was now called Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. And while for decades at RTL, Pro 7, and ARD, certain people in the background decided for us, the audience, what we would see and when, these gatekeepers and censors no longer exist today. We can all be creative, produce content, and broadcast it on the new channels of this digital world. Whether it's good or bad, entertaining, interesting, or boring is then up to us, the audience, to decide. And no one else. I envy my children the freedom, opportunities, and innovations they have today and can brilliantly use because they grew up with them. As a best-ager, I just have to work harder and constantly learn to become and be as good as them. But just because I'm over 50 now and so many "friends" tell me I'm too old and too inexperienced for all of this, I won't let that stop me from enjoying and using the endless possibilities of this new digital world.
