The conference successfully connected key players in the energy transition and climate protection in Hamburg and generated a sense of optimism for accelerating climate action. This year's keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Volker Quaschning, alongside excellent technical speakers and the "Speaker of the Year," Dr. Dr. Despehgel, outlined the path to a future without fossil fuels. Quaschning is a co-founder of the "Scientists for Future" movement, the author of several standard works on renewable energies and climate protection, a PhD expert in the simulation of photovoltaic systems, and holds a postdoctoral lecturing qualification (Habilitation) on scenarios for a climate-compatible energy supply for Germany.
