It is the day General Xia sets of with the army to the border to fight the Qi army. Princess Zhao holds a ceremony to personally send him off. As tokens of her love, she presented General Xia with her Imperial Sword, and her favourite musical instrument, the qin. He gift his trusty sword to his younger brother. The King of Qin with his Queen arrive as well to see the war preparation. He sets eyes on Princess Zhao and is immediately seized with lust for her. General Xia do not like what he is seeing and hearing. A big altercation ensues between the King Qin and General Xia. King Qin leaves in a huff. The ZhangJiang Cantonese Opera Company of GuangZhou 湛江粤剧团 on 2nd July 2012 at the Kreta Ayer Peoples' Theatre, Singapore, featuring the star performers xiaosheng 梁兆明, and huadan 麦文洁.
