Jerry Goldsmith Conducts The Utah Symphony - July 12, 1991.

Part 2 of Jerry Goldsmith conducting the Utah Symphony Orchestra in July of 1991. It includes performances of themes from: The Wild Rovers, The Boys From Brazil, Gremlins 2, The Sand Pebbles, Chinatown, A Patch of Blue, Poltergeist, Papillion, The Wind and The Lion, MacArthur, Patton, and Under Fire. Also includes Jerry’s commentary and fun stories between performances. This was broadcast in Stereo on Classical 89 FM a week after the performance and I recorded it over the air on cassette tapes. The tape is over 30 years old so there's some quality issues. Pretty sure the pitch is off (slow). Something is better than nothing, as they say. Part 1 is currently MIA. I am trying to find the cassette of it and so far, no luck. I’m pretty sure it’s lost forever, which is quite heartbreaking. It contained a performance of “Love Field” that was less “honky tonk” and more upbeat and was quite terrific. I haven’t lost ALL hope yet but I think a miracle will be in order.
