It is designated as one of Korea's 100 Famous Mountains by the Korea Forest Service and is considered one of the Eight Scenic Views of Hongcheon. Looking at the mountain before hiking, you might think it is too low compared to its reputation, but once you actually climb it, you will be surprised once again by the formidable rocky ridges. Eight peaks stretch along the southern bank of the river, and since most of them consist of rocky ridges, caution is required as there are sections where you must climb using ropes or ascend and descend near-vertical ladders. Although it is a low mountain, the hike takes a long time due to the abundance of rocks and cliffs and the rugged ridges.
