Ultra efficient "Dubai" LEDs
Testing some ultra efficient LED lamps made by Emos. They're in the new EU efficiency class A. Opening one of them and reverse engineering the schematic of the power supply. How does a buck regulator work. Oscilloscope waveforms, voltage and current measurements. The 3.8W LED was about 3 USD and the 7.2W LED was about 5 USD.
