Bluefins and Bad Weather
On this trip, Mikey and I headed out aboard the 23, running 40 miles offshore in search of bluefin tuna. With only a short weather window to work with, we knew it was our best shot. What started as a hunt for one giant bluefin quickly turned into an all-out scramble to fill the box. Once the tuna showed up, the action didn't stop, and we made the most of every opportunity before the weather pushed us back in.
