PINEAPPLE PIE INDIVIDUALS Ingredients for 16-18 pieces (for the crust) *500 grams of all-purpose wheat flour (4 cups or 1 pound and 3 tablespoons) *250 grams of shortening *1 tablespoon of baking powder (10 g) *4 tablespoons of sugar (40 g) *1/4 tablespoon of salt (5 g) *3 tablespoons of vanilla essence *1/2 cup of milk, adding little by little (you may need less than half a cup) *1 egg FOR THE FILLING *1/2 piece of pineapple (1 kilo) *1 cup of water (250 ml) *150 grams of sugar (3/4 cup) *1 packet of 47 or 50 g vanilla-flavored cornstarch *1 pinch of salt *SMALL 11.5 x 3 cm aluminum pie molds (#4) *Cellophane bags 10 x 20 or 22 cm (gusset #2) *Celoceda ribbon, or rubber bands or staples NOTE: Price suggestion (using the rule of 3)... multiply your investment by 3, divide by the number of pies you got, and the result is the suggested price.
