Tommy's Express Car Wash - BRAND NEW Tommy Tunnel - Wheaton, IL

Tommy’s Express Car Wash of Wheaton is one of the newest car washes in the Chicagoland area, and one of the most disappointing car washes I’ve been to in a good while. My experience with customer service at this location has been top notch, everyone has been friendly the two times I visited this location to wash my car, they were able to answer all the questions I asked about the wash and what they offer, and also inform me how to work certain things such as the molded mat washer, which I struggled with due to a lack of instructions being present on how to put the molded mat into the machine. Hence, it grabs it properly and washes it. In terms of my experience with wash quality at this location, it has not been very good. The two times I went to this location, both experiences left me really disappointed in the wash quality. The first time I went through the wash, which is shown in this video, my Explorer left the wash with awful streaks on the hood, which I had to go to the car wash down the street, Mango Express Wash, to clean off the marks the wash left on my vehicle. On the second visit to this location, I was driving my other car, a Volkswagen Tiguan, and again I was left really disappointed after the car wash. The top, lower sides, and back of my car were left soaking wet, and the only dry part of my car was the front. They had air guns at each vacuum stall, but I was very disappointed to find out that they were not operating during my visit, most likely due to colder temperatures. Again, I went to the car wash down the street to properly wash and dry my car. Both visits to this location were really disappointing, and between botvisitsy visits,s I feel like the wash quality would have improved, but to my surprise, it did not. In my opinion, this wash isn’t one I would recommend visiting. While the wash down the street, Mango Express Wash, is a bit more expensive than this one, I have had much more luck with getting a clean and dry car there compared to this wash, which left me disappointed on both of my visits.
