Health Secretary Wes Streeting says he will do what he can to accelerate and expand genetic testing for the muscle-wasting disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy. He met with Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, who put the disease into the spotlight after her twins were diagnosed with it. Warren Davies, whose daughter Ophelia has the genetic condition, is calling for all children to be given a heel prick test to test for SMA.
