City of New Orleans 2013 - Pullman Rail Journeys and Amtrak

Take a round trip between Chicago and New Orleans via Pullman Rail Journeys (PRJ) and Amtrak on the City of New Orleans, Train Nos. 58 and 59. The southbound trip aboard PRJ's beautifully restored equipment turns back the clock to when Pullman set the standard for fine service and when the brown and orange trains of Illinois Central ruled the rails between Chicago and New Orleans. PRJ operates two round trips per week and they have a website for more information and reservations. The return trip northbound back to Chicago is via Amtrak's Train No. 58 which is providing City of New Orleans service into the modern era. The Pullman Rail Journeys cars were also making the return northbound trip with a new group of passengers.
