In today's video, let's go back a few years again, to talk about Cocoricó. A Brazilian children's series that won thousands of hearts, both children and adults. Cocoricó is a Brazilian television series produced and aired by TV Cultura, which went on air on April 1, 1996. Produced by TV Cultura, one of the most important broadcasters in children's programming in Brazil in the 2000s. To give you an idea of ​​the broadcaster's weight, in 2015, the British research institute Populus announced that TV Cultura is the second highest quality channel in the world, only behind BBC One. This is a highly deserved title, as the channel offers several areas of entertainment, but, for me, its strong point is children's programming that has passed through generations. Examples are: Sesame Street, Ra Tim Bum Castle, Pingu, The Seven Little Monsters, Nobody Deserves!, and Cocoricó. For you to understand, Cocorico came from an end-of-the-year special. More specifically in a series shown as a Christmas special on TV Cultura called "Bath of Adventure". It was shown in 1989 by the program Rá-Tim-Bum, and had Júlio as the protagonist. This special was the trigger for the creation of an independent program with Júlio. They looked at various types of programs there and decided to follow a format similar to Glub Glub. Cocoricó premiered on April 1, 1996, showing as if they were some sketches, divided between European cartoons, such as: Pingu, Philbert Frog and Sam, o Bombeiro. Then we arrived in 2001, a difficult year for those who liked Cocoricó. Since the series stopped being produced. What happened is that TV Cultura had another focus: the Ra Tim Bum Island. The program was repeated until 2003, when it was REFORMULATED. But in 2010, the creators wanted something different there so as not to remain the same. So, we see a new version: The Cocoricó in the City. On July 9, 2012, it premiered: TV Cocoricó. The creators decided to innovate again and completely changed the format of the program. And in December 2013 Cocoricó ended after 15 years on TV Cultura.
