4 Swing Patterns: Decoding Steep vs. Shallow for Different Golf Swings
Steep & Shallow is an explanatory concept of the golf swing. You always have some steepening and some shallowing elements. In this video, we look at 4 swing styles and how each one uses steep and shallow in its own way. I break down: *how the club is moved *how the body supports it *how different power protocols create different matchups You’ll see: *a modern variation (steep power + shallow body) *old-school / front-side releases (shallow power + steeper body) *Trevino's smart protocol *and a Hogan-style motion with strong rotational control The goal is not to tell you what’s right or wrong. It’s to give you a clearer way to understand golf swings — without getting lost in positions or endless technical details. I have used this in the background for my understanding of coaching and actually as an inspiring part of my educational material (my patterns). If you wish to go super deep, buy Tyler Ferrell's book, it's great (especially the pages about the body positions and the effects on path and angle of attack). Check Out these Videos Next?
