The General Lee - Behind the Build of "Lee 1"

http://www.themusclecarplace.com This is an impromptu interview that we did with Jim Shine, one of the people that coordinated the restoration of "Lee 1," the very first Dukes of Hazzard General Lee car. The video was shot at the 2012 Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction 1 day before the car was sold. Jim described every detail of the restoration, from the crushed frame rails the the use of cheap Acme orange paint over the original copper. He also revealed why every General Lee has vinyl roof trim (but no vinyl roof) and how THIS General set the template for every General ever made.
