I'm dying. Please take care of my children. John, a thirty-four-year-old man, says to a complete stranger, Laura, who has just moved to the house next to his. Due to a vehicular accident five months ago, he has buried his best friend, who grew up with him in an orphanage, and become his wife. Now he's been diagnosed with stage four cancer; all he thinks about is the well-being of his young children.
