Between an evening stroll in Dotonbori and the next day at Kuromon Market, we ate freshly made takoyaki, soft and juicy gyoza, glazed eel in teriyaki sauce, and melt-in-your-mouth medium-fat tuna nigiri, along with so much other typical Osaka street food. We didn't have a specific plan. Just hunger and curiosity. We stopped wherever the smell of food wafted, watching dishes being prepared before our eyes, and tasting intense and authentic flavors. Osaka is chaos, lights, people, and noise... but above all, it's food that makes you want to come back right away. Osaka, you've won us over.
