On a new hill for ginseng
Was trying to just find a new spot for the rest of the berries I had and ended up stumbling into quite the group of 3 prong plants! Well worth getting out in the rain. That will do it for my ginseng season. Overall didn't get quite as many berries as last year, but still pleased with the work I put in to get some in the ground. This was the first year I really saw a good chunk of my saplings from years past show up, which is very encouraging moving forward too. One hill I know got dug, and I found another one to 'replace' it. That's usually how it seems to go. We'll see what next year brings, the deer seemed to hit a lot of them really hard. Thanks for watching!
