Edson Jesús Alvarado, a former bank employee, and Dulce Elizabeth Ticas were arrested for their alleged involvement in the theft of more than $7,000 from dozens of customers using cardless withdrawal codes. According to the investigation, Alvarado used his access to the system to obtain the withdrawal codes and provide them to his alleged accomplice, who then withdrew the money. Authorities indicated that the case came to light after the bank filed a complaint, having detected losses affecting at least 60 customers between November and December 2025.
