FAUST A theatrical blackened death metal concept album inspired by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's "Faust" (1808). Before the Devil came to Moscow, he came for a scholar. Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita" opens with an epigraph from this story — Woland descends from Mephistopheles. This album is the beginning of the account: a scholar who has learned everything and understands nothing wagers his soul against a single satisfied moment. Two voices argue across the whole record — the man who wants everything, and the spirit that always denies. Between them, one innocent girl pays the full price.
