Jushi Bets Big On Virginia’s Awakening Giant | TTB on Location

TDR heads back on location, this time to Manassas, Virginia, for a walkthrough of Jushi Holdings’ (OTCQX:JUSHF) 93,000-square-foot cultivation and processing facility, one of only four operational cultivation and processing facilities in the state right now, with a fifth under construction. Chief Strategy Officer Trent Woloveck leads the tour through the entire seed-to-sale process, starting in the mother room where genetics are preserved, through propagation and veg, into the flowering rooms, and finally into harvest, drying, and extraction, covering both CO2 and ethanol methods along with solventless techniques used to produce their concentrates. The tour continues into the finishing side of the operation, where the team packages vapes, gummies, chocolates, and concentrates, including products built around minor cannabinoids for nighttime use. Trent also breaks down why Virginia matters so much to Jushi’s strategy. The state’s medical market currently sits around just 1% patient penetration, but adult-use sales are set to begin July 1, 2027, and the total market could be worth as much as $4 billion. Jushi is investing more than $50 million into this facility alone and plans to expand canopy by 250% ahead of that transition.
