Nearby, there are shops selling dresses and swimsuits—resort standard. 00:02:42 — Chevki Bab Middle Eastern cuisine: hummus (159 baht), kofte (119 baht), falafel (229 baht). A good alternative to Thai food if you're looking for variety. 00:04:58 — Inexpensive Thai Cuisine A simple, unglamorous restaurant. Banana and mango smoothies, papaya salad with shrimp - 60 baht, main courses - around 120 baht, tom yum with seafood - 150-200 baht. From here, you'll also find directions to Mida Grande. 00:08:32 — Surin Plaza An attempt to create a shopping mall, but it didn't work out. If you're looking for shopping, it's best to go to Bang Tao, Boat Avenue, or Porto de Phuket. 00:09:35 — Bang Tao District Bang Tao has the most: restaurants, beaches, hotels, and nightlife. The cafe at the B Yada Hotel is beautiful, but the prices are above average, and the menu doesn't have Russian. 00:15:48 — Cafe Prices Fish in batter: 580 baht. The menu includes shrimp, salmon, mussels with cheese, and pastas. The menu is faded and doesn't have prices in Russian—check carefully. 00:16:47 — Indian Cuisine and Massage Indian cuisine is significantly more expensive: mutton biryani is 380 baht. Relaxation massages are available, but prices are not specified—check in advance. 00:17:36 — Hotels and Taxi Outrigger Surin Hotel — a short walk to the beach. Taxis can be called locally or through an app. 00:18:31 — Hotels and the end of the area Holiday Inn Surin — nice, but in need of renovation.
