Ram ProMaster City Engine Recall

The recall explained that there was an oil consumption issue in certain engines that needed to be addressed. My van is a 2015 Ram ProMaster City that has a 2.4 Liter inline 4 cylinder engine, also called a Tigershark MultiAir. This Tigershark engine has been used by Fiat-Chrysler in several vehicles across their lineup, including Dodge and Jeep vehicles. If you have bought your vehicle second hand, you may not have received a recall notice. In this video, I talk through the recall process. I also discuss what steps I am taking. Whatever action you personally decide to take, I would urge you to keep a close watch on your engine oil level.
