Gibraltar is one of the most dangerous airports in the world because the runway is short, it is surrounded by water on both ends of the runway, an international roadway bisects the runway with cars, bikes and people on foot crossing. The weather caused by the Strait of Gibraltar can lead to brutal crosswinds. The pilots who land here have to be specially qualified. Flights to Gibraltar are currently only from the United Kingdom.
