A couple days ago I was supposed to help my friend with moving places. We planned to go to a mall to get some things he'd need for his place. Something came up and I was going to be 20 mins late, so I told him to head over to the market without me and I'd join him soon. When I got to the market, I saw him picking some stuff out. Coincidentally, there was an elder lady next to him. I went up, said hi. He was picking out a really large air fryer. When he decided on one, I was like lemme pick it up for ya since I'm late. I took the Air Fryer, put it in the trolley next to him and started walking with the trolley. Didn't even turn around. Just went straight ahead and was like "ok, what next?" I turn left, go to the next aisle and was like "we should definitely pick out important things first. You've got all these snacks in here, but you didn't even get important stuff like toiletries, mattress cove-" Wait? Where'd the friend go? Why isn't he following me? I turn back and go to the aisle and the friend, and the old lady are just staring at me. I was like what? My friend was like "bro that's not my trolley" ... 💀 I could not apologise to the lady enough. I don't think she spoke English, because I kept apologising and she was looking at me with her eyes wide open like as if I kidnapped her grandkids for a ransom. She was GOBSMACKED at my sheer audacity. I kept saying sorry, took the airfryer out and went away with my friend, both of us snickering at how stupid I was.
