Nirvana - Come As You Are Bass Cover

Tuning: A-D-G-C-F Artist: Nirvana Bassist: Krist Novoselic Album: Nevermind (1992) Song: Come As You Are Bass: Ibanez SR675-SKF I've played that over a bassless track, so you are only hearing my bass in this video. Nirvana might be one of the first bands I ever listened to. Back in '92, when Nevermind came out, they played all their singles on the radio and were on TV all the time. It was impossible not to have heard them. Later, when I was old enough to hold a guitar, "Come as You Are" was the first song I learned. I was captivated by that dark aura created by the chorus and the melancholic vocals. It's a very simple song, based on a D progression with a couple of changes for the pre-chorus and the chorus. The bass practically does what the guitar does, accompanying the root note in the strumming. With the right EQ and a subtle chorus, you can emulate Krist Novoselic's bass sound on this track. This clip is recorded for educational purposes only. I do not own the right of this song.
