How I Planked and Glued up the Hull Sides
This video is showing the method that I used to plank the hull sides on this boat. The original plans specify that the hull sides should be 9mm ply, instead of this I have used a combination of 3mm ply to form a base and 5mm Sapele planking over the top. By having a top layer of 5mm it gave me enough material so that the hull sides could be faired afterwards, it also meant that I could plug the planks to look more like a traditional hull.
