We thought we were exploring another abandoned Grade II listed building... but this turned into something completely different. After setting off security alarms while searching for a way inside, we eventually spotted some ladders leading to a smashed upper window. Once inside, it quickly became obvious this wasn't just another abandoned mansion... The entire building was frozen in the middle of a major restoration project. Everywhere we looked were expensive tools, machinery and renovation equipment covered in thick cobwebs, as though the builders had simply walked away one day and never returned. It genuinely felt like time had stopped. As we explored deeper we discovered beautiful original woodwork, grand fireplaces, ornate archways, old paintings and stunning period features slowly being reclaimed by nature.
