Aruarian Dance - Nujabes Guitar Cover (Samurai Champloo)

Can't get this Nujabes song out of my head! Crazy guitar tuning. C# F# B E G# C# (every string tuned down a minor 3rd). This song has an incredible story too: The guitar samples are from Brazilian guitarist Laurindo Almeida's 1969 bossa nova recording (cover) of the 1939 Mildred Baily hit "The Lamp is Low," written by Peter DeRose and Bert Shefter, with lyrics by Mitchell Parish. This song also stole much melodic content from the 1899 composition "Pavane for a Dead Princess" by French impressionistic composer Maurice Ravel. So cool! Nujabes track was originally released on the 2004 album Samurai Champloo Music Record: Departure, (soundtrack for the popular anime series). Hope you dig it.
