The tragedy of the 19-year-old girl who died in Bucegi, on a mountain route, after being attacked by a bear, shocked an entire country and this horrifying situation could be repeated at any time on the Transfăgărășan. Here, dozens of animals are begging on the side of the road and are fed from the palm of their hands by unsuspecting tourists, who ignore the warnings and risk their lives for a photo and thus encourage the bears to come close to people, without fear. A hallucinatory spectacle unfolds over a distance of a whole kilometer, between Vidraru Lake and Bâlea Lake, where bears sit "begging" on both sides of the road, and for years people passing by have been throwing all kinds of food at them from their cars, feeding them like farm animals, forgetting that they are actually dealing with wild animals. A dangerous behavior for both humans and animals, which over time has canceled any hunting instinct and fear. All of this, however, is due to humans, experts claim, because it is they who have cleared entire forests, pushing wild animals out of the forest. The famous forays with ATVs and offroad motorcycles, into the forest or hunting parties with specially trained dogs, trained against bears, all of this scares the animals. Who is responsible for this situation? Are there any measures or not? Who should take them?, these are questions that the "Asta-i România!" team will try to answer, offering us, through the show, the point of view of the parties involved in this issue, the Gendarmerie in the Vidraru area, the Arefu Commune City Hall and the head of the Vidraru Forestry District.
