Part 23 : Making bird feet and legs for competition
Showing how to use copper wire and solder for creating feet and legs for the bird. Adding flux to the joints and then using a butane torch to melt the solder. After the joints were completely soldered, a bur and stone (carbon silicate) are used to mark the ribbing and clean upthe excess nsolder. All the copper should be cleaned with emery cloth or sand paper before soldering. The back tendon should be much smaller than the wire used for the leg or toes.
